Located on the Diversion Canal, near Kevin’s Seafood Restaurant, Riverside Family Medicine opened in November  of   2006.  Established by local residents who understand the shortage of available healthcare in the area, our goal is to provide the community with comprehensive health care services  ...close to home.

 

Riverside Family Medicine is an established State and Federally licensed and  certified Rural Health Clinic. The clinic is the first medical facility in Maurepas/Head of Island/French Settlement communities and the goal is to provide quality health care access to all.

 

 

As a Board Certified, Family Nurse Practitioner, Justin Bennett is qualified to examine, diagnose, and treat most common medical complaints.  Much like a General Practitioner our Provider will write prescriptions, repair lacerations, evaluate
x-rays and, in-general care for the overall health and health maintenance concerns of our patients.

 

An MD will be available to offer consultation on complex cases and oversee the policies and procedures of the clinic.  He will also perform chart review to fulfill state licensing requirements.
